6m Western Red Cedar – Cut to Size

Our 6m Western Red Cedar timber offers a blend of exceptional durability, natural beauty, and affordable quality. While the UK-grown Western Red Cedar doesn't feature the same deep, rich hues as its imported counterparts, it still offers an incredibly sturdy, reliable, and aesthetically appealing timber for a wide range of outdoor and indoor projects. Perfect for cladding, decking, fencing, and more, this timber offers the best of both local sourcing and natural resilience.

  • Material: UK-grown Western Red Cedar timber

  • Finish: Rough-sawn (not planed smooth)

  • Colour: Lighter golden to reddish tones (subtler than imported cedar)

  • Durability: Naturally resistant to moisture, decay, and pests

  • Applications: Ideal for cladding, decking, fencing, and garden structures

 

 

 

  • All wood is fresh cut to order, in its green state, rough sawn unless stated as PAR.
  • Lead time as standard is 6-8 days per £1000 ordered. The more you order the lead time will increase. Lead time is for production only and doesn’t inc delivery times .
  • All lengths are slightly oversize.
  • As a natural product warping, checking/splitting and movement can happen order more to account for this
  • All wood is sold ungraded unless stated
  • Always use stainless fixings with our products
  • Larch from the UK has a lot more colour than imported Siberian larch with deeper orange hews.
  • Cedar from the
  • UK cedar has less colour than Canadian cedar, Uk cedar has the red and brown hews but this fades quickly to a yellow. Oiling can bring back the colour. Please bare this in mind if mixing or adding to projects that have imported timbers.
  • Delivery is kerb side only and not the drivers responsibility to unload to a garden or alleyway.
  • Returns are to be organised by the customer not Sawn Ltd
  • All orders are bespoke , as such return of orders that are not faulty are subject to restock fees of 30%
