1.8m Douglas Fir (Par) – Cut to Size

Our Douglas Fir (Par) timber offers the perfect blend of strength, beauty, and versatility for a variety of both structural and aesthetic projects. Known for its exceptional durability and distinctive grain, Douglas Fir is the ideal choice for everything from construction work to custom woodworking

 

Our PAR wood is kilned dried just enough to be planed , this makes the wood suitable for all external jobs and not ideal for internal works.

All wood is fresh cut to order, in its green state, rough sawn unless stated as PAR.


Lead time as standard is 6-8 days per £1000 ordered. The more you order the lead time will increase. Lead time is for production only and doesn't inc delivery times .

All lengths are slightly oversize.

As a natural product warping, checking/splitting and movement can happen order more to account for this.

All wood is sold ungraded unless stated

Always use stainless fixings with our products

Larch from the UK has a lot more colour than imported Siberian larch with deeper orange hews.

Cedar from the UK cedar has less colour than Canadian cedar, Uk cedar has the red and brown hews but this fades quickly to a yellow. Oiling can bring back the colour. Please bare this in mind if mixing or adding to projects that have imported timbers.
